Don says:
2004 Grants totaled $1,120,000.
In the 2004 election year we wanted people to understand issues like environmental protection and reproductive rights, to express their opinions by voting, and to be confident their votes would be counted the way they were cast. (I would have voted myself except I’m a Spanish citizen and my voter registration expired about 350 years ago.)
Don’t forget, there are many local and statewide elections each year, so vote every time you can. It’s your chance to be heard!
